The Asian Student Association hosted its annual Mid-Autumn Festival this month! It was held in Mabee Hall decorated with beautiful red and white lanterns. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated notably by the Chinese and Vietnamese people. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. ASA’s remake of this festival included many fun activities such as origami and lantern decorating. There was a wide array of food including fried rice, egg rolls, and pot-stickers. Overall it was a very successful event and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year!
